Local lads Jack Lukosius and Izak Rankine are both expected to be picked early, and while Port Adelaide already holds picks 9, 21 and 27, they are also considered likely to get pick 10 from North Melbourne for Jared Polec.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur goal for the entire trade and draft period is to maintain as much talent on our list as we can right now but also to get high up in the draft as we possibly can as well,\u201d Port Adelaide football manager Chris Davies told Trade Radio on Thursday.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s a number of South Australian players this year who look like they\u2019re going to go to the top of the draft order\u2026<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve got some draft capital, we did some work last year to make sure that we were into this draft in a pretty significant way, so if we get to a point where we think we want to package up a couple of picks to move up into the draft, we\u2019re in a good position to do that.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat will unfold throughout the trade period, but it\u2019s fair to say that we\u2019re open to moving up the draft order and the reality probably is going to be that we would need to if we were interested in those players.<\/p>\n
