During the week Kane wrote<\/a> that Ebert, Sam Powell-Pepper and Tom Rockliff could not all fit into the club\u2019s midfield alongside Ollie Wines.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t listen to too much that is said in the media,\u201d Ebert has told Fox Footy.<\/p>\n \u201cKane has to make opinions and calls in the media to keep himself in there and that\u2019s his prerogative.<\/p>\n \u201cHe can say what he likes. For me, I\u2019m not too fazed by what he has to say. I\u2019m not too worried about what Kane has to say around that sort of stuff.<\/p>\n \u201cI think we\u2019ve shown throughout the year that I\u2019ve probably played a fair few other positions as well as just midfield and so therefore, to say that we\u2019re all just in the same team, in the same midfield, at the same time isn\u2019t correct.<\/p>\n \u201cPep provides plenty as a young player and is up and coming. Rocky has joined the club and has been really strong this year.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve tried to be pretty consistent where I could and play other roles where need be. I think we can all work well in the same midfield.
