DFAT has updated its travel advice for Indonesia following recent terror attacks while PM Malcolm Turnbull admits there is also a \u201cpotentially\u201d increased threat to Australians on home soil.<\/h3>\n

Smartraveller.com.au<\/a> now advises a \u201chigh degree of caution\u201d for Indonesia overall and recommends people \u201creconsider your need to travel\u201d to Central Sulawesi, Papua and West Papua provinces.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday Mr Turnbull described recent strikes in Surabaya that killed more than 12 people as \u201cbrutal, inhumane, blasphemous and sickeningly cruel\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a reminder that these terrorists have got nothing to do with God. They are not defending Islam as President Widodo of Indonesia says they are blaspheming it and defaming it,\u201d the PM said.<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Asked whether the attacks increased the threat to Australians on home soil, Mr Turnbull said: \u201cYes, potentially.\u201d<\/p>\n\n
