\u201cWe are hearing that such is the pressure on Ross Lyon, the club is lining up Peter Sumich as a potential replacement.<\/h3>\n
\u201cIronically, Sumich quit the club in 2016 saying he was changing as a person and Ross was hard, they had their blow-ups. They had a really heated blow-up actually, that a lot of witnesses at the time thought might become physical.<\/h3>\n
\u201cSumich was overlooked for the Essendon job, he was overlooked in favour of Adam Simpson at West Coast, and he has knocked back a whole heap of assistant roles since.\u201d<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n
\u201cWe can confirm that a person has contacted the club in the past week and this was referred to the AFL Integrity Services Unit,\u201d Fremantle president Dale Alcock said.<\/h3>\n
\u201cHe (the complainant) subsequently advised the club that he does not wish to take the matter further.<\/h3>\n
\u201cShould anyone have an issue with any employee at our club, we will direct them to contact the AFL Integrity Services Unit, who are tasked with investigating any matters of substance and provide them with all information required.<\/h3>\n
