According to thehindu.com<\/a>, acting secretary Amitabh Choudhary has contacted CA chief executive James Sutherland:<\/p>\n When SACA boss Keith Bradshaw spoke on FIVEAA<\/a> last week, he said he was \u201cquietly confident\u201d the India day-night test would happen.<\/p>\n Disappointing news for SA cricket fans, it appears Adelaide has officially lost the day-night test this summer.\u201cI am directed to say by the Committee of Administrators that India would begin to play in the format only in about a year\u2019s time. Under the circumstances, I regret to say that the proposed D\/N Test cannot be played and all Tests will have to have the conventional structure,\u201d Mr. Choudhary reportedly wrote in an e-mail to Mr. Sutherland.<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re hopeful,\u201d Bradshaw said. \u201cWe\u2019re hoping over the next couple of weeks we will have an answer.\u201d<\/h3>\n
\u201cOur preference is to go with a day-night test\u2026 the day-night tests have been a phenomenal success for us and I think to have the first ever day-night test between India and Australia would be a massive success.<\/h3>\n
