{"id":120099,"date":"2024-12-06T11:55:39","date_gmt":"2024-12-06T01:25:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/?p=120099"},"modified":"2024-12-06T11:55:40","modified_gmt":"2024-12-06T01:25:40","slug":"police-track-thieves-from-adelaide-to-renmark","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/news\/police-track-thieves-from-adelaide-to-renmark\/","title":{"rendered":"Police Track Thieves From Adelaide To Renmark"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Three men have been charged and two stolen vehicles recovered after being tracked from Craigmore to Renmark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/omny.fm\/shows\/afternoons-with-stacey-lee\/henry-davis-addresses-viral-video-and-his-politica\/embed?style=cover&#038;image=1&#038;description=1&#038;download=1&#038;playlistImages=1&#038;playlistShare=1&#038;share=1&#038;subscribe=1&#038;background=f5f5f5&#038;foreground=000000&#038;highlight=f5f5f5\" allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write\" width=\"100%\" height=\"180\" frameborder=\"0\" title=\"Henry Davis addresses viral video and his political plans\"><\/iframe>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to SAPOL:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Just after 5pm Thursday 6 December police were called to Candlebark Court after reports a man had been assaulted by four men and his grey Nissan X-trail stolen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A short time later police received another call from a vigilant member of the public who reported that a Nissan X-trail had arrived in Wilkins Road, Elizabeth Downs, and they saw four people get out of that car and into a Volkswagen Golf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The member of the public was able to provide the registration number on the VW and a description of the men to police. Checks revealed the VW had been stolen from a Paralowie home on 25 October. Police searched the area but could not locate the VW.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Later, about 8pm, a Highway patrol spotted the VW travelling east on the Sturt Highway toward Renmark. The Highway patrol radioed ahead to other Riverland patrols and was able to keep observations on the VW without it knowing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The VW pulled into a fast-food restaurant on Renmark Avenue. Here, patrols swooped in and arrested the three occupants, a 20-year-old, 18-year-old and 19-year-old, all from Mildura. The 20-year-old and 18-year-old have been charged with aggravated robbery. The 19-year-old was charged with theft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 20-year-old and 18-year-old were refused bail and will appear in the Berri Magistrates Court today.
