Former Adelaide Crows AFLW premiership coach Bec Goddard<\/strong><\/a> says she wants a crack at coaching in the men\u2019s league.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to coach in the AFL,\u201d Bec told Graham during an episode of Conversations with Cornesy. \u201cI want to coach in the men\u2019s competition.\u201d<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n

But Bec admitted she was yet to be approached.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s fine because I\u2019m a learning coach,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019m not there yet, I\u2019ve got lots more that I want to learn. I\u2019ll be returning to Canberra and I\u2019m going to be coaching in the NEAFL back in Canberra when I return for work with the AFP over the winter months. That\u2019s the plan for the next six months.\u201d<\/h3>\n

During the wide-ranging chat Bec opened up about the challenges of working in a league that didn\u2019t provide fulltime employment.<\/h3>\n

\u201cI have exhausted all of my leave now with the Australian Federal Police over the last two seasons. I wouldn\u2019t change that for the world. I\u2019d do it again in a heartbeat, but the reality is, like the players, it\u2019s not a fulltime business yet.<\/h3>\n

\u201cIt\u2019ll move that way when more teams come in and TV rights are sold, who knows how long it will be.\u201d<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n
