{"id":12180,"date":"2018-04-10T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-04-10T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/uncategorized\/we-don-t-have-a-culture-problem-says-port-adelaide\/"},"modified":"2018-04-10T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2018-04-10T00:00:00","slug":"we-don-t-have-a-culture-problem-says-port-adelaide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/sport\/we-don-t-have-a-culture-problem-says-port-adelaide\/","title":{"rendered":"We Don\u2019t Have A Culture Problem: Port Adelaide"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Senior Port Adelaide player Brad Ebert is adamant the club doesn\u2019t have a culture problem following its fourth off-field incident involving a player in 12 months.<\/h3>\n<p>The club is currently <a href=\"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/shows\/david-and-will\/David-Koch-Addresses-Sam-Powell-Pepper-Allegations\">investigating Sam Powell-Pepper<\/a> who was accused of an indecent assault at an Adelaide nightclub over the weekend.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"400\" width=\"700\" class=\"media-element file-default nova-lazyload-image-wrapper lz-cont img-responsive\" data-delta=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/port_adelaide_jumper.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The allegations follow separate incidents involving Paddy Ryder and former players Jackson Trengove and Nathan Krakouer.<\/p>\n<blockquote><h3>\u201cI\u2019m sure you can ask the question,\u201d Ebert said on Tuesday. \u201cBut when you look at those incidents, both times (with Trengove and Ryder) it ends up being that the players were not really in the wrong.<\/h3>\n<h3>\u201cSo to say the culture is an issue, I disagree with.<\/h3>\n<h3>\u201cAs a group we are pretty strong &#8212; and uphold a strong set of values and standards. I don\u2019t believe this is a culture issue.\u201d<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Ebert said Powell-Pepper was \u201crattled\u201d by the accusations, but said there was no doubt the youngster had broken team rules.<\/p>\n<blockquote><h3>\u201cUntil we know the full extent of the situation, we can\u2019t go handing out punishments or anything like that.<\/h3>\n<h3>\u201cObviously we are disappointed with him breaking team rules around being out at that time.
