A Nordic brewery has produced a beer it says is made from human urine — and it\u2019s called \u2018the Pisner pilsner\u2019.<\/h3>\n

According to food site Munchies<\/a>, the beer was made by nordic brewery N\u00f8rrebro Bryghus with 54,000 litres of urine collectied from the Roskilde music festival in 2015.<\/p>\n

The wee was then sprayed all over some malting barley in place of normal fertiliser.<\/p>\n

Jakob H\u00f8rslev Hansen from the brewery told Munchies:<\/p>\n

“Our goal from the very beginning was to make a beer that — taste-wise — matches the entire beer cycling spirit.<\/h3>\n

\u201cSo it was important that the beer was a light, easy-to-drink summer beer that would go well with the festival season.”<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n

How does it taste? According to reporter Simon Espholm\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Pisner is slightly bitter, but surprisingly fresh. It smells hoppy and definitely not like ammonia — not even a hint of urinal. If there’s any aspect of it that resembles urine, it’s all in the color: dark golden and unfiltered, just like your first p*ss of the morning.\u201d<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n
