Meanwhile Liberal Senator Linda Reynolds, who was Australia\u2019s first woman brigadier in the Army Reserve, said the comments were \u201cappalling\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cI want to say to Senator Bernardi: shame on you,\u201d Senator Reynolds said.<\/h3>\n
\u201cHe could not have chosen a more insulting or demeaning topic, not only to all of our women who now serve in uniform, but all those women who want to put their hand up.<\/h3>\n
