FIVEAA today announced that popular presenter Leith Forrest will take the reins for the FIVEAA Afternoons program, filling in for Stacey Lee as she begins maternity leave.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently Adelaide’s number one Evenings host, Forrest said he’s looking forward to getting started:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I’m beyond excited to keep Stacey’s seat warm. Listeners can rest assured, I plan to continue the amazing work Stacey has been doing, with a sprinkle of me included. So listeners might hear a couple of Carlton and Millicent mentions here and there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“While I’m no stranger to the shift, it’s another great challenge I’m excited to sink my teeth into. I’m clocking up 25 years at the station in September, so it will be nice to celebrate that with the Afternoons audience. While I’ll absolutely miss the Evenings listeners who have embraced me and have been so kind, they’ll be in very safe hands and hopefully they’ll tune into afternoons too.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On her caretaker, Stacey said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I couldn’t think of anyone better to hand over the Afternoons microphone to. Leith has so much experience and is incredibly well known and trusted by our FIVEAA listeners, so I know my radio baby will be in safe hands. The newshound in me will always have an ear on what’s happening so I know that bub and I will be some of Leith’s most regular listeners. Who knows, Leith might even see my number flashing up on the talkback line.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

As the final piece of the puzzle, a familiar name returns to FIVEAA Evenings, with FIVEAA stalwart Matthew Pantelis stepping back into the hosting role. After an extremely successful stint hosting the program in 2021 and 2022 and more recently FIVEAA Mornings, Pantelis, a 29 year veteran of the station, is eager to reconnect with the Evenings listeners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matthew said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I thoroughly enjoyed my time hosting evenings and am looking forward to being back in the chair. I enjoyed great success with the program holding down the number one position for those two years. To record a 27 share of the audience, up there with the great Bob Francis, was an absolute career highlight. I feel a great connection with our extremely loyal audience and am looking forward to getting stuck back in.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

On the station line-up for the remainder of the year, Station Manager, Craig Munn said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Leith is an outstanding broadcaster with a strong connection to our audience. His success hosting Evenings for the station is testament to that, holding the number one spot the entire time he’s been in the timeslot. We’re excited for the content he’ll bring to our Afternoons listeners and while they’ll no doubt miss Stacey, we’re confident that the program is in safe hands with Leith. Likewise, with Matthew Pantelis stepping back into Evenings, Matthew has a proven record in Evenings and is the perfect person to deliver a show that’s a nightly connection point for our listeners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“On behalf of the entire FIVEAA team, we send all of our love and warm wishes to Stacey (and husband Ben) as they embark on this exciting new chapter of their life starting their family.
