BEER BATTER
1 CUP SR FLOUR
1 CUP CORN FLOUR
1 CUP RICE FLOUR
SALT
1 BOTTLE BEER
SODA WATER
1 TBS OIL
CANOLA OR VEGETABLE OIL FOR FRYING<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Combine the 3 flours in a bowl. Add the Ale and whisk use the soda water to get the required consistency<\/p>\n\n\n\n

remove the bones from the Cod or ask your friendly fish shop to do it for you<\/p>\n\n\n\n

coat the cod in plain flour then dip in the cold batter, remove excess and fry in 180 degree oil until golden<\/p>\n\n\n\n

drain on paper towel and serve with lemon, vinegar, tartare sauce & Mushie Peas<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MUSHY PEAS
2 CUPS OF PEAS<\/p>\n\n\n\n

bring salted water and butter to a boil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

add peas to boiling water and bring back to a boil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

remove peas from the cooking liquid and place into a food processor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

add the cooking liquid a little at a time and pulse until you reach a desired consistency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

check seasoning and adjust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
