{"id":12945,"date":"2018-01-08T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-01-08T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/uncategorized\/more-come-forward-to-accuse-craig-mclachlan\/"},"modified":"2018-01-08T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2018-01-08T00:00:00","slug":"more-come-forward-to-accuse-craig-mclachlan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/news\/more-come-forward-to-accuse-craig-mclachlan\/","title":{"rendered":"More Come Forward To Accuse Craig McLachlan"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Two more people from a 2014 Rocky Horror Show production have come forward with accusations of inappropriate behaviour against star Craig McLachlan.<\/h3>\n<p>Three cast members from the 2014 performance told a Fairfax Media\/ABC investigation that McLachlan inappropriately touched them or exposed himself.<\/p>\n<p>A woman and a man who worked as part of the crew in the 2014 production also went to police on Monday, the ABC reports.<\/p>\n<p>McLachlan has agreed to stand down from the current production at the Adelaide Festival Centre and will be replaced in Tuesday night&#8217;s show by his understudy.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"916\" width=\"697\" class=\"media-element file-default nova-lazyload-image-wrapper lz-cont img-responsive\" data-delta=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/mclachlan_-_rocky_horror.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>He has been quoted as saying of the accusations:<\/h3>\n<blockquote><h3>&#8220;They seem to be simple inventions, perhaps made for financial reasons, perhaps to gain notoriety.&#8221;<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The show&#8217;s producers &#8212; Gordon Frost Organisation &#8212; say they are taking the allegations seriously and will co-operate fully with authorities.<\/p>\n<p>The company said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><h3>&#8220;We can also confirm that our records show the claimants at no time made any complaint &#8212; formal or informal &#8212; to the company manager or executive producer of The Rocky Horror Show in 2014.<\/h3>\n<h3>&#8220;Furthermore no one at GFO recalls any verbal discussion of this nature.
