Tassie politician Jacqui Lambie says she hasn\u2019t changed her mind on sharia law following an explosive on air run-in with Muslim activist Yassmin Abdel-Magied earlier in the year — but admits she could have handled it better.<\/h3>\n

\u201cI think it could have been done better,\u201d she told The Project host Waleed Aly.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt could have been, knowing the topic. Knowledge is power, Waleed, as you\u2019d know. You\u2019re an academic. And the more you learn, the better off you\u2019re going to be.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t like it. We have one law in the country and that\u2019s Australian law — nothing will change my mind on that.<\/p>\n

\u201cI might not (have) had a grasp three years ago. I have a clear grasp now. There is one law and one law only, that is Australian law.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome will agree on this side and others won\u2019t agree on this, that\u2019s the truth of the matter. We can argue the point black and blue. Some will say it\u2019s very moderate. That\u2019s fine. No worries.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are many out there that are concerned about sharia law and there\u2019s no doubt about that.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
