Can the Power keep coach Ken Hinkley?<\/h3>\n

\u201cThe more I hear, and this isn\u2019t confirmed\u2026 the more I hear, the more nervous I am about him not being at Port Adelaide next year,\u201d Kane said on FIVEAA.<\/p>\n

Kane said he believed the Gold Coast Suns were \u201cgoing to come hard\u201d for the Power\u2019s senior coach.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat I\u2019m hearing is that there is a five-year deal on the table for Ken Hinkley from the Gold Coast,\u201d Kane said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think he\u2019s pretty keen to stay at Port Adelaide, provided there is a contract extension that is suitable for him.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe pressure is just building on Port Adelaide and the board to offer him a contract that he will stay for\u2026 I reckon they\u2019ll be forced to do that sooner rather than later.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

By Friday afternoon there were reports Suns chief executive Mark Evans had been in contact with Hinkley’s manager this week.<\/p>\n\n
