Former State Treasurer Kevin Foley has launched himself at Business SA and the banking sector in a series of LinkedIn posts.<\/h3>\n

\u201cSince the State Budget you and Bankers\u2026 have been pounding the news cycle with massive spend talking down the economy,\u201d Mr Foley wrote on the networking site. \u201c\u2026 and guess what\u2026 your survey says business confidence is down\u2026 no sh*t!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBusiness SA has been nothing but a Squawk Box forever\u2026 not taken seriously by either side of politics… Hey\u2026 business could make an easy cost saving\u2026 ditch membership of Business SA\u2026 I have no idea what benefits they deliver you!!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Mr Foley accused Business SA of making overly pessimistic forecasts.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou start to wonder why business talks their own economy down\u2026 why\u2026 to help a bunch of bankers who are out there every day screwing many of your members\u2026 weird sh*t in anyone\u2019s book!?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

And then he attacked the banks, which have said they will fight the Weatherill\u2019s government\u2019s proposed bank tax<\/strong><\/a> in the High Court.<\/p>\n

\u201cBankers, obviously you would campaign against tax, but don\u2019t keep attacking my State with offensive and misleading adverts\u2026 not to mention grubby stupid attempts to get X Labor Ministers and Premiers to join your pathetic efforts\u2026 and then lie about your attempts\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

He also took a swipe at Anna Bligh, now working for the Australian Bankers Association:<\/p>\n

\u201cAnna Bligh was clearly not satisfied in destroying Labor in Qld, she wants a crack at Labor in SA.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
