{"id":14125,"date":"2017-08-23T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2017-08-23T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/uncategorized\/a-port-adelaide-favourite-seriously-considering-his-future\/"},"modified":"2017-08-23T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2017-08-23T00:00:00","slug":"a-port-adelaide-favourite-seriously-considering-his-future","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/sport\/a-port-adelaide-favourite-seriously-considering-his-future\/","title":{"rendered":"A Port Adelaide Favourite \u201cSeriously Considering\u201d His Future"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Port Adelaide\u2019s Jackson Trengove may look to leave the club, reports Kane Cornes.<\/h3>\n<p>Trengove is out of contract at the end of the year and has been dropped from Port\u2019s AFL team the last two weeks.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cRight now I can tell you he is weighing up his future,\u201d Kane said on FIVEAA on Tuesday. \u201cHe did want to stay, but the fact he\u2019s out of the side at the business end &#8212; if he doesn\u2019t get a game this week to replace Jonas, it\u2019s not a great sign.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI can tell you he is seriously considering his future and hasn\u2019t agreed to stay at Port Adelaide and I think will make that call at the end of the year.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"400\" width=\"700\" class=\"media-element file-default nova-lazyload-image-wrapper lz-cont img-responsive\" data-delta=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/ken-hinkley.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>But Port Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley hinted Trengove may not return this week, and said leaving him in the SANFL wouldn\u2019t \u201cmean much\u201d in terms of his future at the club.<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cJacko played a really strong game in the SANFL on the weekend as that ruck-forward option,\u201d Ken said, \u201cbut we know he can certainly support us down back.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe challenge for us this week is that Gold Coast are not that tall &#8212; they\u2019re quite a smallish side in their front half.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt doesn\u2019t mean much &#8212; if he does or doesn\u2019t get picked.
