It\u2019s great to be asked to be in this production. I\u2019m thrilled to be a part of it.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Shooting of the film starts next week and will be based in the Coorong and other locations around Adelaide.<\/p>\n<p>The project has been billed as a contemporary re-telling of the 1976 iconic family film.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PRESS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201c<strong>Geoffrey Rush<\/strong> will star as Mike \u2018Storm Boy\u2019 Kingley, who recounts his childhood adventures to troubled teen granddaughter Madeline in an effort to prevent her from making the same mistakes he made years before.
