“That was a disgraceful lack of respect not just for the two Australians killed, one of whom was a young South Australian, all of those victims of that terror attack in London,” Mr Albanese told the Nine Network of the Thursday night controversy.<\/p>\n
“There is no excuse here. This isn’t about culture, this is about a lack of respect. I thought it was disgraceful.”<\/p>\n
Senator Derryn Hinch also condemned the Saudi team’s behaviour, suggesting they may have warn black armbands if it was “the birthday of a 9\/11 terrorist”.<\/p>\n
“It is an insult,” he told the Seven Network.<\/p>\n
“Saudi Arabia, that’s where the terrorists came from for 9\/11. Now that Donald Trump has done a multibillion-dollar arms deal with that country, it is a disgrace and what they did last night should not be forgotten.”<\/p>\n
