Port Adelaide CEO Keith Thomas says the club is monitoring tensions with North Korea and will consider alternative options in the event their China game is deemed too risky to play.<\/h3>\n

Port is scheduled to play the Gold Coast Suns in Shanghai in Rd 8, but as tensions in the region rise<\/a>, Thomas said the club would not put any Australians at risk to play the game.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can\u2019t ignore the circumstances that prevail in the world today,\u201d he said on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cRight now we have had no advice to suggest that the game is at risk or we shouldn\u2019t be going, and we\u2019ll just keep bowling along until we\u2019re told otherwise.\u201d<\/p>\n
