It can be treated with antibiotics and the survival rate thankfully is much better.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut it is pretty serious if you do get it, so you need to be alert to the symptoms.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>LISTEN HERE:<\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"no\" height=\"166\" scrolling=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=https%3A\/\/api.soundcloud.com\/tracks\/303044273&amp;color=ff5500&amp;auto_play=false&amp;hide_related=false&amp;show_comments=true&amp;show_user=true&amp;show_reposts=false\" width=\"100%\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Dr Buckett said the symptoms to lookout for included a fever, cough, chest pains, breathlessness and diarrhoea.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is an illness that can affect anybody, but some people are more susceptible than others &#8212; the elderly, people with immunosuppression\u2026 chronic smokers are at risk, and also people that have got chronic heart and lung diseases.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut it is a disease that can strike anybody.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dr Buckett said authorities had been unable to locate the source of the outbreak.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll of the cases have visited areas in the CBD and in the inner western and southern suburbs. There\u2019s no one location that all of the four people went to.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt makes it very difficult to trace, so that\u2019s why we\u2019re warning all business operators that have air-conditioning cooling towers to make sure their maintenances is up to date.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said cases originating from home air-conditioners were rare\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe don\u2019t usually see it.
