He\u2019s clearly not a fan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo I think human beings are meant to be in 40-year-long monogamous, faithful relationships?\u201d he said in the same interview.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo. Whoever said they were? Only the Bible or something. No one\u2019s ever said that that\u2019s a good idea.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think there\u2019s something unromantic about marriage,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs soon as you get married, you\u2019re into possessiveness, ownership, jealousy, all these unhappy things, boredom, and if you don\u2019t do those things, it can still be sexy, romantic, fun. There\u2019s a lovely aspect of it sometimes, if you marry exactly the right person, your best friend, then it\u2019s cozy and it\u2019s lovely, but people make so many mistakes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps the biggest critic of Grant\u2019s comments will be his own brother\u2026&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy brother has an annoyingly good marriage,\u201d he said. \u201cHe\u2019s really happy.
