It\u2019d be really cool to see some more.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>LISTEN HERE:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>There were also some spectacular scenes in nearby Hahndorf, which was transformed into a winter wonderland.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"882\" width=\"1042\" class=\"media-element file-default nova-lazyload-image-wrapper lz-cont img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/screen_shot_2016-07-12_at_4.04.23_pm.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>EARLIER<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Trees and power lines were down across the state after rain and strong winds swept across Adelaide, the hills and the Fleurieu Peninsula on Monday night, leaving up to 30,000 homes and business without power.<\/h3>\n<p>SA Power Networks have warned the power may not be restored in some areas until Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>7 News\u2019 Deanna Williams told FIVEAA breakfast a \u201cmassive\u201d gum tree had fallen and was completely blocking all traffic on the Adelaide-Lenswood Rd in Lenswood.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMany of its branches are lying on top of power lines,\u201d Williams reported. \u201cIt\u2019s a very dangerous situation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Dept of Transport has also advised that a tree has come down on the SE Freeway at Stirling and is blocking traffic on the uptrack.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPlease avoid the area if possible,\u201d advised the department.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor everyone&#8217;s safety please take it easy on our roads, drive to the conditions and with your headlights on.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">UPDATE: Huge tree down blocking the entire road near Lobethal.
