A 30-year-old man charged over a triple murder near Adelaide will remain in custody.<\/h3>\n

Steven Graham Peet made no application for bail when he appeared in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

He is accused of killing Adeline Rigney-Wilson and her children, Corey, 5, and Amber, 6, whose bodies were found at a house at Hillier, north of Adelaide, on Monday.<\/p>\n

Peet was brought into the court in handcuffs and was wearing a blue rain coat.<\/p>\n

He made no comment during the appearance.<\/p>\n

Defence Counsel Andrew English said only that his client would not be seeking bail.<\/p>\n

Magistrate Brian Nitschke remanded Peet in custody to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court by video link in August.<\/p>\n

When the bodies of Ms Rigney-Wilson and her children were found police described the deaths as domestic related.<\/p>\n

But they declined to reveal how the trio were killed.<\/p>\n

No details about the manner of their deaths were given in court.<\/p>\n

Several family members attended the hearing but made no comments.<\/p>\n

However, the dead woman’s mother spoke earlier and described her daughter as a beautiful person who would do anything for her kids.<\/p>\n

The grieving grandmother of two young children found killed with their mother has described them as beautiful, happy kids.<\/h3>\n

Donna Rigney had not spoken with her daughter Adeline Rigney-Wilson for about four months because of the 29-year-old’s drug issues but says she would do anything for her kids.<\/p>\n

“She was a good mother. She growled, but it doesn’t matter because you’ve got to pull your kids into line and that’s how she did it,” Ms Rigney said through tears.<\/p>\n

“She got mixed up with the wrong crowd but she always made sure her children were right.<\/p>\n

“She always bought food for those kids on her payday.”<\/p>\n

Police found the bodies of Ms Rigney-Wilson, her five-year-old son Corey and six-year-old daughter Amber at a rural property in Hillier, north of Adelaide, on Monday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Her partner has been charged with murder and was due to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates court on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Ms Rigney said she didn’t know her daughter’s partner.<\/p>\n

“The devil will look after his own,” she said.<\/p>\n

Police haven’t revealed how the woman and children died.<\/p>\n

Barossa Local Service Area officer-in-charge Chief Inspector Alby Quinn said the nature of the crime was very traumatic.<\/p>\n

“This does appear to be domestic-related and we are not looking for any other further persons in relation to this incident,” he said.<\/p>\n

It is believed Ms Rigney-Wilson and Peet had only been living together at the Hillier property for a matter of weeks.<\/p>\n
