What makes your wife happy?? Shared interests, a good sense of humour? Well apparently all you need to create a happy marriage is to have a decent height difference.<\/h3>\n

In a recent study published in the Journal of Personality and Individual Differences it was revealed that the greater the height difference between the couple, the happier they tend to be.<\/p>\n

7,850 women were studied and the researcher discovered that a greater height difference in a couple directly correlated with the wife’s happiness.<\/p>\n

According to the study:<\/p>\n

“The long period of the dissipation indicates a powerful impact of male height on women’s psychology, probably prepared by evolution. Although it has been known that women prefer tall men in mating for evolutionary reasons, no study has investigated whether a taller husband makes his wife happier.” <\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The researcher also added that the height differences happiness effect would, “gradually weaken over time and entirely dissipate by 18 years of martial duration.” <\/p>\n
