A US man battling Alzheimer\u2019s has appeared in a brutally honest video saying he misses laughing and joking with friends as the disease destroys his memory.<\/h3>\n

Alan Beamer made the video with the help of his wife, which went viral after they posted it on Facebook.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat do you want people to know about Alzheimer\u2019s?\u201d Mr Beamer\u2019s wife asks him at the start of the video.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a mean, mean, one of the meanest things I\u2019ve ever seen in my life,\u201d a teary Mr Beamer answers.<\/p>\n

In one of the saddest moments of the video, Mr Beamer says he thinks his friends avoid him now that he has Alzheimer\u2019s.<\/h3>\n

\u201cI\u2019m the same old person, and I wish my friends could come up and just talk to me just like they did before.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mr Beamer said that he would prefer people just ignore the fact he has Alzheimer\u2019s.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell that\u2019s something they need to know, because I don\u2019t think people feel too comfortable,\u201d his wife says.<\/p>\n
