Andrew Symonds, 40, says he is thinking about coming out of retirement to become T20 gun for hire.<\/h3>\n

\u201cPeople have asked me: \u2018would you consider starting up again?\u2019\u201d Symonds told ESPNcricinfo<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s something I\u2019ve definitely got to consider.<\/p>\n

Since retiring from international cricket in 2012, Symonds has played in the Masters Champions League in the UAE.<\/p>\n

\u201cI suppose I\u2019m in a situation where I could go back, try and get really fit and engage again. Or just be happy doing what I\u2019m doing. That\u2019s something I\u2019ve got to work out in the next six months or so,\u201d Symonds said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m enjoying playing. It\u2019s physically demanding, but I\u2019m enjoying the challenge again. I\u2019m enjoying the adrenaline and the nerves again. It\u2019s not too bad at all. I am enjoying it,\u201d he said.<\/h3>\n

Symonds played 93 T20 matches, averaging 32 and hitting at a strike rate of 147.35. <\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s a lot of \u2018could haves\u2019 with me,\u201d Symonds said. \u201cI\u2019m probably a bit too old now to play really seriously. I\u2019ve a good life. I\u2019ve had a good life through cricket. I\u2019m not unhappy. Life is really good. I\u2019ve a young family now. It\u2019s probably the greatest thing we\u2019ve ever done.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m also considering maybe going into the coaching side of things now,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wouldn\u2019t want to burden anyone with my presence for too long, but a bit of consultancy work would be good. Going in for a couple of weeks and then leaving them alone: match awareness, how to finish games, setting totals, tactics against certain types of bowling or on certain surfaces.<\/p>\n

\u201cI ended up playing a lot of cricket in the subcontinent and a lot of teams struggle when they go there. If I can pass on my experience, that may be helpful for them.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve probably a few decisions to make in the next little bit.\u201d<\/p>\n
