It heads into this season as the sixth-oldest side, and ranks fourth for experience. What\u2019s more impressive is the spread of players across all age brackets.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"West Coast Eagles predicted to be the next AFL powerhouse | FIVEAA\" title=\"West Coast Eagles predicted to be the next AFL powerhouse | FIVEAA\" class=\"media-element file-default nova-lazyload-image-wrapper lz-cont img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/west-coast-eagles.jpg\" width=\"620\" height=\"385\" \/><\/p>\n<h6>The West Coast Eagles are entering a long premiership window, says Champion Data | Image | <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westcoasteagles.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\">WCE<\/a><\/h6>\n<h3>The prediction was made in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.championdata.com\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">Champion Data\u2019s official 2016 AFL Prospectus<\/a>.<\/h3>\n<p>By the company\u2019s calculations, the Eagles are entering a long premiership window as their 21-24-year-old players are better than the corresponding batch in any other club.<\/p>\n<p>They also have 17 players in the 25-29 \u201cprime\u201d age category.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey have nine players between the ages of 21-24 &#8211; right on the AFL average &#8211; with the quality of this group rating a clear No.1,\u2019\u2019 says the Prospectus.<\/p>\n<p>Despite finishing 13th on the ladder in 2013, Champion Data predicted the Eagles would be the third best team in 2014, reports Fox Sports.
