The mother of two boys shot by their own father before he drove them and himself off the Port Lincoln wharf earlier in the month has spoken at the funeral for her deceased family, saying she still loves her husband.<\/h3>\n

Melissa Little, 29, gave an emotional eulogy at the service in Port Lincoln on Wednesday, which included poems she wrote for her husband and sons.<\/p>\n

In a poem for her nine-month-old son Hunter, Mrs Little said: \u201cSo brief was your time \/ I hardly knew\u201d and \u201can early arrival \/ in Heaven that day.\u201d<\/p>\n

She described son Koda, 4, as \u201cthoughtful and caring\u201d and said: \u201cEach moment spent with you \/ Will always be held dear.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a tribute to her husband Damien, 33, Ms Little said: \u201cIf love alone could have saved you \/ You never would have died,\u201d before ending the poem with the words \u201cWithin my heart I love you still\u201d.<\/p>\n

A spokeswoman for the family said Mrs Little showed enormous strength throughout the ceremony.<\/h3>\n

\u201cMelissa is a woman of great strength who was able to stand up there and farewell her husband and two children,\u201d she told The Advertiser. \u201cIt was respectfully, and beautifully, done.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was an emotional day but Melissa was strong and wanted to honour her family today.\u201d<\/p>\n
