It was a terrifying experience for two women in a share house at Brompton in the early hours of Friday morning when they were the victims of a home invasion.<\/h3>\n

A man armed with a knife disturbed their Coglin St residence at about 4.15am.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\u201cI woke up and he was right behind me with a knife in his hand, rummaging through the draws,\u201d one of the victims told FIVEAA.<\/h3>\n

\u201cA gentle get out from a male housemate and he seemed to leave.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe love this house, this is a beautiful place, it\u2019s a great area,\u201d said one of the women.<\/h3>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not going to let him take my trust away completely. It\u2019s still there. I still know there are good people in the world and this is not an everyday thing.\u201d<\/h3>\n

The intruder accessed the house through an unlocked window.<\/p>\n

The women were not physically hurt and police caught the alleged intruder nearby.<\/p>\n

A 49-year-old man from Aldinga has been charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass and will face court later on Friday.<\/p>\n
