The pilot had his safety belt on and the communication gear attached to his head and ears,\u201d Omar told local police, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freemalaysiatoday.com\/category\/nation\/2015\/10\/11\/sabah-special-branch-to-quiz-man-on-plane-find\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Free Malaysia Today<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Malaysian transport minister Liow Tiong Lai said: &#8220;I have told the DCA to look into the report. We don&#8217;t know if the report is true, so we need to verify it first. Let&#8217;s not speculate.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>MH370 went missing on March 8&nbsp;2014 without a trace with 239 people on board. A flaperon discovered on Reunion Island in July was confirmed as a part of the missing plane.
