It\u2019s easy to forget, too, that your FB profile contains a lot of personal information like your email, number, work history or even your current location.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re sharing any data with your friends then data apps used by those friends can see that data too.<\/p>\n<p>Now before you go and delete everything, Facebook does let you protect your privacy.<\/p>\n<p>So how to fix it?<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Click on the down arrow at the far right of your Facebook page.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"361\" width=\"813\" class=\"media-element file-default nova-lazyload-image-wrapper lz-cont img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/fb1.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Go to settings.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"media-element file-default nova-lazyload-image-wrapper lz-cont img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/fb2.jpg\" width=\"816\" height=\"448\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Click on the Ads button.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"media-element file-default nova-lazyload-image-wrapper lz-cont img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/fb3_0.jpg\" width=\"809\" height=\"469\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>4. In each sections of Ads, click on the &#8220;edit&#8221; buttons.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"media-element file-default nova-lazyload-image-wrapper lz-cont img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/fb4.jpg\" width=\"825\" height=\"366\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Inside the edit menu, it will show how your Facebook ID is used in ads and other people to see. in this hyporthetical example, my friends are apparently seeing an ad for a sushi restaurant that it appears to have endorsed.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"media-element file-default nova-lazyload-image-wrapper lz-cont img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/fb5.jpg\" width=\"826\" height=\"610\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>6.
