How do you squish more passengers onto a plane, in order to make more money per flight? Like this.<\/h3>\n

Economy class is about to get a little squishier.<\/p>\n

Airlines are currently looking into a design which will mean more bums on more seats and more money. <\/p>\n

How?<\/p>\n

A hexagon design proposed by Zodiac is pitching forward and backward facing seats, essentially meaning you will have to stare at your fellow passengers.<\/p>\n

The proposal is called “Economy Class Cabin Hexagon” and it looks as if you’ll be knee-to-knee with those on the plane.<\/p>\n

The design also gets rid of armrests all together – so it’ll just literally be a seat.<\/p>\n
