Despite a massive housing shortage in Sweden, where this cute little country abode is up for sale, no one wants to buy it.<\/h3>\n

The cottage has been on the market for nearly three years now, at the low, low price of 422,000 kronor (approx. AUD$66,800). <\/p>\n

There have been no takers though – apparently all because of its location – in a village known as PENISVAGINA.<\/p>\n

Yes, you read that correctly. The village of Snorrslida is located in Southern Sweden and apparently the name, which roughly translates as PenisVagina, is proving to be quite a roadblock for locals hoping to shift their properties.<\/p>\n

Swedish paper \u2018The Local\u2019 reports that the ad went viral over the weekend because of the name.<\/p>\n

One Twitter user posted this:<\/p>\n

Which translates as “Whoa, slow down for a second. There’s a place in Sweden called Snorrslida,” <\/p>\n

\u2018The Local\u2019 reports though that the estate agent, Henrik H\u00e5kansson, insists that it\u2019s not the name of the village that\u2019s putting off prospective buyers, but rather the condition of the property. <\/p>\n

\u201c[The house] is in a bad condition, the difficulties selling it are not related to the name,\u201d he told ‘The Local’ on Monday.<\/p>\n

Henrik continued: \u201cIt’s a very small area with not many customers, but we’ve sold this house before and we believe we can do it again. It was sold about ten years ago, and back then it was in the same condition as it is today.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHopefully it can be sold next week, but it might also take half a year, we’ll see.\u201d<\/p>\n
