Worsfold was Walsh\u2019s mentor. Walsh recognised Worsfold\u2019s strong influence on his work from their five years as coaching colleagues at West Coast.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In 2008, Worsfold recruited Walsh from Port Adelaide to West Coast.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPhil Walsh,\u201d Worsfold said, \u201cwas critical to the development and implementation of (a game plan at the Eagles) that saw us climb off the bottom of the ladder and back into the top four in 2011.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPhil wanted a game that pleased the fans. I won\u2019t forget him.
