A rowdy group of Aussie tennis fans known as The Fanatics have been shut down during a Wimbledon tennis match.<\/h3>\n

At a match between Australian Sam Groth and crowd favourite Roger Federer, the unofficial Australian cheer-squad was made to feel very unwelcome at Wimbledon\u2019s centre court.<\/p>\n

The first time The Fanatics stood to sing a verse of \u201cWe love you Grothie, oh yes we do,\u201d the capacity crowd replied with their own chorus of \u201cSsssshhhh\u201d, \u201cShut up\u201d and \u201cSit down.\u201d<\/p>\n

Next, when they started a, \u201cLet\u2019s go Grothie, let\u2019s go\u201d, the boos they received were so loud they sat down midway through.<\/p>\n

Eventually when a RAF member of the tournament\u2019s \u201cService Stewards\u201d \u2014 representatives of Britain\u2019s armed services who act as ushers \u2014 threatened to evict The Fanatics if they didn\u2019t sit down, the arena erupted in applause.<\/p>\n
