When you lose your head honcho, it hits you pretty hard,\u201d he said in a video message posted on the AFC website.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think you only have to look at the support we\u2019ve had over the last 24 hours from external people,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe (had the) ability to come in (to our club), and in nine months have an influence on every single person and that\u2019s not only the players but admin staff and support staff at this footy club.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s just a great man and one that I started to fall in love with.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.428571429;\">\u201cI had many conversations with him. One that sticks in my mind is when he told me not to ring him after eight o\u2019clock because that\u2019s his bed time,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are a lot of stories like that.
