In a post that quickly went viral, she wrote that: &#8220;Racism is alive &amp; well in the next generation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to the \u2018Ballarat Courier\u2019, Rachel described her shock. \u201cI looked around the line and there were little girls of all different races lining up dressed as their favourite Disney characters,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were in Melbourne, one of the most multicultural places in the world.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI couldn\u2019t believe it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Young Samara was so upset by the incident that her mother says she then pointed to her skin and asked why she was black.<\/p>\n<p>Rachel said: \u201cI told her \u2018because God gave you that skin colour, because you\u2019re a proud blackfella like mum\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Samara\" title=\"Best of the Web\" class=\"media-element file-default nova-lazyload-image-wrapper lz-cont img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/samara_fbook.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"1040\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Thankfully, the shopping centre would not stand for it, and agreed that the woman\u2019s \u201cbehaviour was unacceptable\u201d.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And it seems everyone else agrees too, as Rachel\u2019s post has now been shared thousands of times, as the family has been flooded with messages of support that include:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe is beautiful&#8230; Don&#8217;t ever let anyone tell her any different&#8230;.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat&#8217;s terrible Rachel. Samara is gorgeous and I&#8217;m sure you tell her that regularly!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat mother and her kids should be ashamed of themselves telling your daughter those terrible things.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The internet has rallied behind this beautiful Princess in an emotional outpouring of support.<\/p>\n<p>Samara has now been cast as a young Cathy Freeman for Indigenous Hip Hop artist Briggs&#8217; new clip for the song &#8220;The Children Came Back&#8221; &#8211; a collaboration with Paul Kelly and Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu.
