Port Adelaide president David Koch says his team will still make the finals.<\/h3>\n

Speaking on Channel 7\u2019s Game Day on Sunday, David Koch conceded his team was struggling with expectations.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt goes back to that composure issue, and we\u2019re still a very young group,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll these predictions at the start of the year just got way ahead of themselves.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\u201cI think that weight of expectation has played on them, other teams muscle up against us. You can see it in the fumbling of the skills.”<\/p>\n

The Power have five wins and seven losses after being widely fancied as premiership contenders at the start of the year.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIf we\u2019re going to be a Hawthorn you have to learn to cope, you have to learn to cope under pressure and you\u2019ve got to play tough footy,\u201d Kochie said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019ve got to muscle up and we\u2019re learning to do that.\u201d<\/p>\n

But he said he still believed Port Adelaide would play finals in September.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re still a chance, we believe we\u2019re a chance. On our best day we can beat anyone, it\u2019s just getting our headspace right, it\u2019s improving our skills, it\u2019s playing with composure, it\u2019s playing with the run again.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m really confident we\u2019ll make the eight, absolutely we\u2019ll make the eight,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
