Kaitlyn Wallis was about to start her new job in child care\u2026 But she was sacked before she even started. Here’s why.<\/h3>\n

This is Kaitlyn Wallis.<\/p>\n

She shook hands with her new boss earlier this week, eager to start her new job at a child care centre.<\/p>\n

The 27-year-old was merely a few hours away from starting the job, when she decided to put up a very specific Facebook post.<\/p>\n

“I start my new job today but I absolutely hate working at day cares. Lol it’s all good I just really hate being around a lot of kids.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Almost immediately, Kaitlyn’s account was bombarded with angry, local women, calling her names like “dumb bitch”, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I had all these girls attacking me because I don’t want to be around a lot of kids all the time,” she told the local news.<\/p>\n

“I actually cried. It really hurt because i wasn’t trying to offend anybody.”<\/p>\n

\"KAITLYN\"<\/p>\n

Within minutes of the status going up, the entire town was talking about the post – including future boss at the day care\u2026 Shortly after finding out, she got the call, telling her not to bother coming in. Ever.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m a single mum trying to get out on my own\u201d, Ms Walls told the local news.<\/p>\n

\u201cI really needed (that job) really bad. It really was a big mistake. I don\u2019t hate children. I have my own\u2026 I love her.\u201d<\/p>\n

She then updated her Facebook status with this:<\/p>\n

\u201cMan, I made a big mistake. I\u2019m so sad. I feel like a failure here looking at my daughter crying because I\u2019m afraid that I\u2019m not going to be able to find a job because of my own stupidity. I\u2019m not going to post anything like it ever. No matter how I feel.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
