\u201cWe are expecting to have very dusty conditions so when you\u2019ve got dust you have very, very fine particles in the air and they can get down into people\u2019s lungs. So this is people with asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease such as emphysema and chronic bronchitis.<\/p>\n
\u201cPeople who have those conditions — both adults and children — really need to take care today.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Meanwhile the Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe weather warning for damaging winds.<\/p> \n \n
According to the BOM:<\/p> \n \n
\n\tDamaging northerly winds, averaging 50-70 km\/h with gusts of 80-100 km\/h, are forecast to develop during Thursday morning across western and central parts of the warning area then extend over southeastern parts late morning and early afternoon. Winds turning west to southwesterly behind the cold front, possibly reaching 50-70 km\/h in the North West Pastoral during the late afternoon and early evening.<\/p> \n \n\t
Areas of dust, reducing visibility, are possible across the State.<\/p> \n \n\t
Locations which may be affected include Adelaide, Port Lincoln, Whyalla, Ceduna, Maitland, Kingscote, Coober Pedy, Roxby Downs and Murray Bridge.<\/p> \n<\/blockquote> \n \n
