Former Adelaide FC coach Graham Cornes says a young Crow is showing signs he will live up to the dazzling expectations placed on him.<\/h3>\n

\u201cFinally we got Wayne Milera [in the midfield],\u201d Cornesy told the FIVEAA sports show after Adelaide\u2019s win over Gold Coast.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow is he an emerging champion? Is he going to be as good as they\u2019ve had? Taylor Walker told me once that he\u2019s going to be the best player the Crows have ever had. Are you seeing that?\u201d<\/p>\n

Mark Bickley agreed:<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the back half of last year we saw it. And then we saw it for about three or four games early in the year and then he\u2019s had a real flat patch.<\/p>\n

\u201cPart of that I think is because he\u2019s never been settled down in the one position. He\u2019s played half forward, he\u2019s played half back, he\u2019s moved a lot within the game.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve always been a believer in him needing to be in the midfield. He\u2019s the top three in their four km time trial, so he\u2019s a running machine and they are light on really hard runners in Adelaide\u2019s midfield.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s just to play there for the rest of the year.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
