If he kept going through the line of the ball he just would\u2019ve been tackled. Nothing would\u2019ve happened. So he tried &#8212; and he tried badly, admittedly &#8212; he tried to pluck the ball out, spin away from the contest, to have a shot at goal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s bad technique and you could argue it\u2019s a bad decision. If you\u2019re a defender you couldn\u2019t do that, but I reckon when you\u2019re 40 metres from goal\u2026 I thought he was unfairly criticised for that particular action.
