When the opposition\u2019s Stephen Mullighan later spoke with Leon Byner, he called for greater scrutiny of the SMA\u2019s finances.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt seems there\u2019s a lot of information the Stadium Management Authority hasn\u2019t been upfront about, particularly with regard to their finances,\u201d Mr Mullighan said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe need more transparency from the SMA, not just when they rock up to the government with their hand out for another $42 million, but every year we need to know what\u2019s going on at the oval, how much money is being made and where it\u2019s going.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
