It gives you an amazing platform to effect some real change if you\u2019ve got something in mind.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re going to man up and do something good with it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI really enjoying working with children, certainly as a doctor I enjoy the stuff I do with kids.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m also thinking about how amazing my childhood was &#8212; I was lucky to have parents who were very much into the outdoors and taking us on adventures, lots of small boating and fishing and snorkelling, camping, that sort of stuff, and in this fantastic state of South Australia where the natural wonders are incredible.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI really want to try and inspire kids to get out and about, get them off their screens. I know talking to my own kids they feel a bit trapped by social media and they\u2019re kind of jealous that we grew up in a time that we were free of it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is the way young people communicate these days so we have to allow for that, but I think there could be a balance struck and we need to get them off their screens and get outside and build up a bit of confidence and resilience that comes with adventuring and taking a few risks.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"100%\" height=\"188\" src=\"https:\/\/embed.acast.com\/david-will\/davidandwill-29january2019\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" style=\"border:none;overflow:hidden;\"><\/iframe>&#13;\n&#13;\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">BRAVO!
