West Coast premiership coach Adam Simpson is expected to deliver some home truths about the AFL\u2019s focus on Melbourne during an upcoming meeting with the commission.<\/h3>\n

\u201cI\u2019m really interested to find out what happens here,\u201d Caroline Wilson has told FIVEAA.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s become a tradition in the last few years that the premiership coach is given an audience with the AFL Commission\u2026 this is a several-hour conversation, back and forth — what\u2019s going on with the game, what\u2019s good about the game, where\u2019s the game headed, what specifically is the issues for your club.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe reason it\u2019s so important is when you\u2019ve won a premiership you\u2019ve got a bit of creditability, so the AFL Commission listens. And it\u2019s not a whinge because you\u2019re successful — you\u2019ve won the flag — so anything you say you\u2019re saying because you really mean it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m told it\u2019s not going to be a whinge about how tough it is being over in the west\u2026 but how tough it is not being part of headquarters\u2026 and how the AFL has just become too Victorian centric over the past few years, even more than it was when the AFL was first formed.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
