\u201cWhat we can reveal is that on Monday of this week the principal sent a letter to parents of all the kids at the school saying:<\/p>\n
\u2018I regret to inform you that on 10 October 2018 a teacher at our school was arrested and charged with child sexual offences. Police have advised the Department for Education that they do not have any objections to informing the school community\u2026 at this stage of the criminal process I am not permitted by law to name the teacher, however I will keep you informed of the progress of the prosecution and provide you with more information when it becomes available.<\/p>\n
‘The teacher has bail conditions that prevent them from engaging in any child related work\u2026 they have been directed away from the workplace and instructed not to attend the school pending the outcome of the police investigation and prosecution.\u2019<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
The worried mother wrote to David and Will:<\/p>\n
\u201cI am sickened by this news and I am freaking out about the lack of information from the school.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t know whether or not my child might have come into contact with the teacher.<\/p>\n
