Crows premiership captain Mark Bickley has turned on Graham Cornes after Cornesy talked up Taylor Walker\u2019s on-field effort against Sydney.<\/h3>\n

Cornes said Walker was \u201cabsolutely outstanding\u201d during Adelaide\u2019s win.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat was lacking the week before?\u201d Cornesy asked. \u201cHe should play that way every week.\u201d<\/h3>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not a matter of form because every player can be down on form — you can have good days and bad days. But it\u2019s about the effort, the endeavour.\u201d<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n

But Bicks wasn\u2019t letting Graham off the hook for his comments last week<\/a>.<\/p>\n

BICKS: <\/strong>You\u2019re going to take credit because you lambasted him and from that he\u2019s come out and been good? You had a crack at him. You said his leadership was poor last week.<\/p>\n

CORNES<\/strong>: Don\u2019t put words in my mouth. There was an army of critics and it\u2019s not just last week — it\u2019s been ongoing.<\/p>\n

BICKS:<\/strong> You\u2019re saying Taylor didn\u2019t give 100 per cent against the Magpies?<\/p>\n

CORNES: <\/strong>I\u2019m saying it looked like his effort wasn\u2019t there.<\/p>\n

BICKS:<\/strong> That\u2019s na\u00efve, I think, from you. No player goes out there and not tries. You should know that every player that goes out there tries.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
