This was the thing he most wanted to get done in the legal system, to change the way cases progress from first arrest thought to trial &#8212; to speed up things that happen in the Magistrates Court.<\/h3>\n<h3>\u201cThis is based on very good Victorian legislation that has solved a lot of their problems. You know the difference between Victoria and South Australia? Victoria funded it.<\/h3>\n<h3>\u201cThere are more police officers doing this job, there are more DPP staff able to liaise with them, there are more resources available for all of this to work.
