Darren Lehmann denies axed<\/a> South Aussie swing bowler Chadd Sayers will never play for Australia because he doesn\u2019t have the right attributes.<\/h3>\n

FIVEAA\u2019s Stephen Rowe suggested to Boof on Tuesday that to play for Australia you have to bowl \u201c140 clicks and be over 6\u20194 tall\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou don\u2019t have to be — that is rubbish,\u201d Boof said on FIVEAA. \u201cFrom our point of view it\u2019s a case of picking for the right conditions. If we were in England right now\u2026 I\u2019m sure Chadd would probably be there. He\u2019s close, it\u2019s just the right conditions.\u201d<\/h3>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a tough call on Chaddy. He\u2019s been brilliant. We know that and we certainly talked long and hard about that one. It really just got down to the balance of the touring party.<\/h3>\n

\u201cBoth records, Sayers and Bird are alike — same wickets, same average basically. Jackson\u2019s the incumbent at the moment.<\/h3>\n
